Red Devils' Bar For Thailand

Red Devils fans in Thailand will soon have a place to meet, dinner and watch the matches together - the Manchester United Restaurant & Bar in Bangkok.

The new site will be Thai, Asian and English / kitchen and show games United and other major sporting events live on a state of the art video wall. Fans will also be able to watch the action while drinking or dining outdoors, thanks to a giant projector screen. The restaurant and bar will also be decorated with the United souvenirs and photos of players yesterday and today.

Taking Bangkok will be the third theme-Reds restaurant and a bar to be opened by Manchester United Food & Beverage Asia Pte Ltd (MUFB Asia), with two of these sites already opened in the Indonesian city of Jakarta and Bandung. Another is planned for Seoul, Korea before the end of this year.

Andy Yun, CEO of MUFB Asia, said to ManUtd Official Web: "We believe that the United fans in Thailand were waiting for a place like this to bring the Club.

"We are convinced that with time, the Manchester United Restaurant & Bar will become the connection point between the Club and its 14 million viewers in Thailand."

MUFB Asia has granted a franchise to Venture Group to open the Manchester United Restaurant & Bar in the city of Bangkok. The company obtained a site in a new four-star hotel on Sukhumwit Road 11, which will open its doors in October 2008.
