Robson suggests Ronaldo not to move

I was read at Manchester official website that Bryan Robson is confident that Cristiano Ronaldo will remain at Old Trafford, despite Real Madrid's ongoing interest in the player.

Bryan Robson is confident that Cristiano Ronaldo will remain at Old Trafford, despite Real Madrid's ongoing interest in the player.

Robson, now an ambassador of the club at Old Trafford, recalls a time in his career at manchester united when he attracted the attention of high-profile foreign clubs, and he expects Ronaldo to rebuff these openings, just as he did.

Robson told that in 1983, he was wanted by three Italian clus - AC Milan, Sampdoria, and Juventus. It would have been a waorld record fee. It was a similar situation for Christiano Ronaldo is in now, in that Manchester would not let me go for what would have been a world record fee. Robson was happy to stay and he think Ronaldo is happy at the club too. Ronaldo might have small doubts but Robosn think all the media hype and what has been coming out of Spain has really blown the situotion out of proportion. Robson saw Ronaldo, once Ronaldo is over his ankle operation, being part of the team.

United have continually insisted that Christiano Ronaldo will not be leaving Old Trafford, despite a summer of speculation about his future.
